Following the discussion at our August NOMA meeting, we are pleased to share that the City's Urban Forest Commission will hold a special meeting dedicated entirely to the future of the San Vicente Boulevard parkway.

Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Santa Monica Main Library, Multipurpose Meeting Room

This meeting will focus exclusively on San Vicente Boulevard. Residents will have the opportunity to express their views, hear the City's plan to preserve what can be saved, and discuss what new plantings can restore San Vicente's beauty and carry it forward for the next 50 to 100 years.

The Urban Forest Commission is holding this special meeting in direct response to community concern. NOMA continues to be actively engaged with City staff and Commission members to help make this meeting happen, and we encourage every neighbor who cares about San Vicente Boulevard to attend and make their voice heard. This is your opportunity to be part of the conversation about one of Santa Monica's most cherished and recognizable streets.
