About SMPA: You've no doubt seen the three white SMPA trucks that patrol NOMA 24/7. They provide an extra level of security and crime deterrence in our area, while also providing unique services like vacation check-ins, mail pickup, and more. With on-call dispatchers, you can call them anytime if you see something that worries you or want someone to check your property – any situation that doesn't rise to the level of calling 9-1-1.

Right now, approximately half of all households in NOMA are members of SMPA but if more sign up, SMPA can add additional vehicles for even better patrol security. That's why NOMA is encouraging all our members to join.
