NOMA Residents, Activate!
Dear NOMA Neighbors,
How you vote is your business, but WHETHER you vote is how our neighborhood gets heard at City Hall. Let's all get out there and vote to let Santa Monica know that our collective voice here on the north side has real impact in this city!
THE GOAL: Beat 2022’s 4,951 North of Montana voters

So far: 1,214 votes submitted as of October 25.*
We’d love to see North of Montana have the highest turnout in Santa Monica. After the election, we’ll report our neighborhood's participation. Let’s make it one worth bragging about!
Before you vote, review your ballot and read up on the various measures. There's a lot to digest so you'll want to make decisions ahead of time. Here's a reminder of how you can vote locally.
- MAIL YOUR BALLOT - Today, TUESDAY OCTOBER 27th, is the last safe date to mail your ballot and make sure it arrives in time to be counted. If you miss today, consider the two options below.
- DROP BOX - fill out your ballot, seal it in the envelope provided, and make sure to SIGN AND DATE THE ENVELOPE. You don't want anyone to have an excuse to reject your ballot because it wasn't properly signed and dated. The drop box is right outside the Montana Ave branch library at 1704 Montana Avenue, open 24 hours daily, until 8 PM on Election Day.
- IN PERSON -
- OPEN NOW: The vote center at Civic Center Parking Structure, 330 Olympic Drive, 2nd Floor (SMI Training Room).
- OPEN as of SAT. OCT 31st: Reed Park, Joslyn Hall, 1133 7th Street, 10AM to 7PM daily. Also, Marine Park and Virginia Avenue Park.
- OPEN ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY NOV 3rd: All locations 7AM to 8PM. Your ballot should indicate your closest voting location but you can also find your location at https://locator.lavote.gov. Official Santa Monica City election info: https://www.santamonica.gov/elections/2026-11-03 Note: If you aren't registered to vote, you can still register to vote conditionally on Election Day at any official voting location.
