Help protect our coast this Monday!

Dear NOMA supporters.

The Trump administration is seeking to take jurisdiction over of our coastal waters to pave the way for offshore drilling.

The federal government (NOAA) will be hosting a meeting in Santa Monica this Monday, August 10, to discuss their plans. There will be a press conference at noon and the hearing itself is from 2-6PM at the Hilton Santa Monica at 1707 4th St.

The California Coastal Commission will attend and would like residents to come and show their support for keeping California’s coastline under the jurisdiction of Californians!

To speak at the in-person meeting, please register by emailing czma.california-evaluation@noaa.gov by 11:59 p.m. PT tonight. Space is limited. Walk-in speakers will be accommodated if time allows, following pre-registered speakers. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes.
